These Restaurant Terms apply to any restaurant, food truck, home cook, or vendor listed on FoodsTT. They sit alongside the customer Terms of Service and set out what we expect from you as a partner on the platform.
1. Getting listed
A restaurant profile is published only after admin approval. During our launch phase we onboard privately, build each profile, and review menus, photos, hours, and the order flow before a group of restaurants goes live together. This keeps quality consistent for customers from day one.
2. Founding restaurant listing
Our founding restaurants receive free onboarding and a free listing until FoodsTT online payment integration is live, along with concierge setup help. Founding restaurants still earn restaurant reputation points from launch. Once online payments launch, a low platform fee and order commission will apply as described to you at that time; our pricing philosophy is to keep fees modest and competitive.
3. Handling Order Requests
In this first version, ordering runs on unpaid Order Requests. You agree to review incoming requests and accept or reject them promptly so customers are not left waiting. When you accept, the customer receives a final confirmation prompt, and you should only begin preparation after the customer confirms. If you need to change an order, send the change back to the customer to confirm again rather than altering it silently.
4. Accurate prep times and honouring orders
The preparation time you give sets the customer’s expectation, so keep it realistic. You agree to honour confirmed orders at the menu price shown and to have the food ready within the window you quoted. Repeatedly quoting inaccurate times or failing to honour confirmed orders harms customers and your standing on the platform.
5. Keeping your menu and hours current
You are responsible for keeping your menu validated and accurate — items, prices, and availability — and for keeping your opening hours up to date so customers do not order when you are closed. Menu freshness and accuracy are signals we track.
6. Pickup and handover
You verify each pickup by scanning the customer’s QR code (or using the order number and 6-digit PIN), confirm the order details, and tap “Handed Over” when you physically give the food to the customer or an authorized driver. Scanning a code proves the customer arrived; it does not by itself complete the order. A no-show must be confirmed by you manually after the pickup window passes — it is never recorded automatically — and you may waive a customer penalty where circumstances justify it. You handle payment at your own register in V1; FoodsTT does not require you to record the cash or card method.
7. Restaurant reputation
Restaurants earn reputation points from signals such as consistent order acceptance, high completion rates, low restaurant-caused cancellations, accurate prep times, updated hours, fresh and accurate menus, response speed, proper handling of change requests, customer feedback, and recent activity. Strong reputation can later unlock featured placement, lower commissions, promotional credits, and cross-ecosystem perks. Exact thresholds will be set with real traffic.
8. Suspension for abuse
FoodsTT may suspend or remove a listing that abuses the platform — for example manipulating reviews, repeatedly failing to honour confirmed orders, misrepresenting the menu, or otherwise harming customers or the integrity of the service. Where possible we will raise issues with you first, but we reserve the right to act to protect customers.
