Reviews on FoodsTT exist to help real customers find good food and to give restaurants honest, useful feedback. These rules keep that signal trustworthy. They apply to every review, rating, and comment you leave on the platform.
1. How FoodsTT reviews work
FoodsTT does not use a plain 5-star rating. Instead you rate a few things that actually matter about a meal:
- Taste — how good the food was.
- Value — whether it was worth the price.
- Service — how the ordering and pickup experience went.
- Would you order again? — the simplest measure of a good experience.
FoodsTT combines these into a single weighted public score called the Heat Score (for example, “🔥 Heat Score: 93 — 96% would order again”).
2. Verified orders weigh more
Feedback tied to a real, completed order through FoodsTT carries more weight than an unverified opinion. This keeps the score grounded in actual experiences rather than drive-by ratings.
3. The Heat Score is weighted to prevent gaming
The Heat Score is calculated behind the scenes from many signals — verified customer feedback, the number of reviews, how recent they are, completed-order and repeat-order history, restaurant reputation, menu accuracy, order reliability, and disputes or cancellations. It is deliberately weighted so that a restaurant with one perfect review cannot outrank a restaurant with hundreds of strong, verified experiences. Rating-based search uses this weighted score.
4. What is not allowed
To keep reviews trustworthy, the following are prohibited:
- Fake reviews, including reviews for orders that did not happen.
- Review manipulation — buying, trading, incentivizing, or coordinating reviews, or a restaurant reviewing itself or competitors.
- Abusive, harassing, hateful, or threatening content.
- Defamatory or knowingly false statements.
- Spam, off-topic content, or sharing other people’s private information.
5. Enforcement
Reviews that break these rules may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them — whether customer or restaurant — may lose reviewing privileges, have their reputation adjusted, or be suspended. Attempts to game the Heat Score are treated as abuse. We aim to be fair and to act on genuine problems rather than honest negative feedback.
